We construct our garden buildings in the same manner as you would construct a timber frame house. A studwork panel of tanalised C16 structural timbers make up the frame of the panel. The framework is then boarded with 11mm OSB (Orientated Strand Board) sheeting to give the panels a rigid structure. A breather membrane is then used to wrap the building allowing the building to breathe, letting moisture out, but providing a water resistant barrier. Tanalised battens are then added to the outer face to take the choice of cladding selected. Internally PIR (polyisocyanurate) rigid insulation is fitted between the timber studwork and a vapour membrane then wraps the internal structure preventing any moisture entering into the structure.
Internally as standard we provide engineered flooring, plasterboard walls, skimmed and painted, and USB charging sockets on all our plug units.
Our buildings are then clad in either treated A / A+ grade redwood, Western Red Cedar or UK Red Cedar, or we can offer any number of alternatives should you desire something different. All our garden buildings can be tailored to your specific tastes and we offer a number of options and upgrades to all our buildings.
